Barbie joined Compliagent in 2014 as a Compliance Consultant specializing in organizational integrity, enterprise risk management, and management consulting. Barbie has extensive training in healthcare compliance, risk management, emergency and disaster preparedness, and compliance with federal and state licensing regulations. In her role, Barbie leverages her experience in both management consulting and leadership training to provide Compliagent’s clients with the tools to implement and maintain effective compliance programs.
Barbie is instrumental in helping clients mitigate the risks of regulatory compliance while delivering high quality care by assisting clients with mock surveys, compliance effectiveness reviews, emergency and disaster preparedness drills, and implementation of organization-wide policies and procedures. With a strong background in customer service, Barbie also excels at providing training on complex regulatory topics to all levels of staff within healthcare organizations.
Barbie actively participates in professional associations serving healthcare providers and is an active member of The Health Care Compliance Association.
In her free time, Barbie enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, reading, traveling and developing her wine palate.
